Our History
At PINCH, our mission is to revolutionize property management and commercial cleaning by bridging the gap between multifamily communities and professional cleaners. We strive to enhance the living environments of multifamily residents through high-quality, seamlessly integrated cleaning services while empowering cleaning professionals with opportunities for growth and expansion into commercial markets.
Our commitment extends beyond the walls of multifamily properties as we equip cleaners with the tools, training, and support needed to excel both within and outside this sector. By fostering strong partnerships and leveraging innovative vendor management technologies, we aim to set new standards of efficiency and excellence in the cleaning industry, ensuring every community and cleaner we work with benefits from our expertise and dedication.
2021:
Founding and Launch in Charleston, SC
PINCH was founded in 2021 with a visionary concept: to transform the cleaning and property management industry through a seamless, app-based solution. Launched in Charleston, South Carolina, our platform was designed to connect multifamily communities with high-quality cleaning services by leveraging local, professional home cleaning teams. This innovation provided an efficient, user-friendly way for property managers and residents to access top-tier cleaning services at the touch of a button.
2022
Southeast Expansion
Building on our initial success, PINCH expanded its reach throughout the Southeast in 2022. This growth phase was characterized by strategic partnerships and the enhancement of our technological infrastructure, which allowed us to serve more communities and increase the scope of our operations. As we grew, so did our network of trusted cleaning professionals, each vetted to meet our high standards of service and reliability.
2023
Focused Execution in the Multifamily Sector
In 2023, PINCH honed its focus on the multifamily industry, recognizing the unique challenges and opportunities it presented. Our approach was tailored to meet the specific needs of multifamily property managers, offering streamlined vendor consolidation, enhanced operational efficiencies, and a standardized service protocol across properties. This strategic pivot allowed us to deepen our impact within the sector, improving the quality of life for residents and operational dynamics for property managers.
2024
Launch of Training and Partnership Platform
In 2024, PINCH made a strategic shift that fundamentally altered our approach within the multifamily industry. Moving beyond the traditional method of impacting one community at a time, we implemented a nationwide network through our vendor consolidation model. This pivotal change allowed us to deliver transformative benefits not just to individual communities, but across entire property management companies.
By streamlining the management of one of the largest expenses on their books—cleaning services—we enabled uniform quality and cost efficiency across all properties under management. This approach significantly enhanced operational efficiencies and opened up new possibilities for property management companies to focus more strategically on tenant satisfaction and business expansion. This evolution in our business model marked a major milestone in our history, setting a new standard in the industry for managing cleaning resources across a property management company’s portfolio.
